KJV Bible Translation
The King James Version of the Bible was one of the first official complete biblical translation in the English laguage. It was an effort undertaken starting in 1604 under the leadership and authorization of King James I. The work was completed in 1611 by 47 biblical scholars.
The KJV quickly became the standard English translation for the English speaking world. It is commonly known as the Authorized Version (AV) or King James Bible (KJB). It is currently in the public domain in the United States.
